Here’s the latest on what’s happening at East Bay Intergroup:
New bylaws pass (in principle)
At the June Intergroup meeting Group Representatives (IGR’s) passed the new East Bay Intergroup bylaws in principle. Amendments can continue to be introduced in upcoming meetings.
Board votes to keep PPP loan
The EBI board voted to keep the Paycheck Protection Program money for salaries and possible unknown expenses from the lease dispute. They anticipate that the loan will be forgiven.
New position of Parliamentarian created and filled
Teddy B.-W. was unanimously elected the EBI Parliamentarian. This newly created position will help to ensure that the monthly Intergroup meetings are run according to A.A. traditions, particularly with regards to discussion and voting. Teddy has held a variety of service positions, including Area 06 Delegate in the last panel.

NEW – Chatline volunteers are needed
Volunteers are needed for all shifts, especially Fri 2-6 pm. If you’d like to volunteer for the Chatline, email Chatline Coordinator Zach at chatline@eastbayaa.org

Sponsors Needed for Inmates at San Quentin Prison (Men Only)
Men with 5 years of sobriety who are interested in sponsoring an inmate at San Quentin are needed. Please call Max V. at 510-461-6611.
