Notes from the Intergroup meeting held September 21. Does your group have an Intergroup Representative (IGR)? Be sure your group’s voice is being heard by electing an IGR and participating in the monthly Intergroup meeting.


New Special Events Coordinator

Hank W. has stepped up to be the new Special Events Coordinator. This position has been vacant for some time, in part because there have been few events to hold, due to the pandemic. But now that we are getting back into meeting in person, there will be plenty of events to keep Hank busy. We are all grateful for his service; he will need lots of volunteers, so please consider helping out.


Lindsay, the Office Administrator, is hoping to expand the bookstore hours to include Saturday and Monday. If you are able to volunteer to staff, contact Lindsay at

Beginners Meeting

Liza H., Beginners Chair, announced that a second beginners’ meeting is starting. It will meet online on Sundays at 7pm. The original beginners meeting meets Tuesdays at 7pm.

August Financials
Group Contributions August – Intergroup took in $2,999 in
7th tradition contributions for August, down from July.
This brings the average per month year-to-date
to $5,110. The average monthly contribution for 2021 was
Profit and Loss August – There was a net loss in August of $574,
with a net operating loss for the year of $5,014.

Board of Directors Report
Two Board Members will be rotating out of their positions
at the end of the year, Tim C. in the Treasurer position and
Claudia G. in the Secretary position. The board is looking
for people with legal, financial, or administrative
experience with non-profits. If you would like to serve or

Helpline and Chatline
Paul D., the new Helpline Chair, announced that there are open shifts
on Thursday and Friday from 2am – 6am. This is a great opportunity to
give back and be reminded of what it’s like to be the
alcoholic who still suffers. Help keep the Helpline going—

Zach O-M. reported that there are three open shifts on the
Chatline that need filling: Wednesday 10am – 2pm, Wednesday 6pm – 10pm, and
Sunday 10am – 2pm. If you can help out and grab one of
these shifts, contact Zach at
