Meeting Confirmation Information

Each AA group is autonomous and determines whether they will provide meeting confirmation.

Members seeking confirmation can be referred from various sources, including treatment centers, court programs and friends or family members. 

Each AA group will have their own method of dealing with meeting confirmation requests. Generally speaking, the secretary at in-person meetings will sign cards at the end of each meeting. Online meetings will provide a digital signature after each meeting upon request. The referred member is responsible for returning his/her proof of attendance to any entity requesting confirmation. 

EBI does not supply nor have access to either court or treatment center cards, nor to meeting confirmation sheets. These must be obtained from the referring organization or entity.
